Saudi-Lebanese crisis, Yemen returns ambassador, Saudi Orabia demands to remove Hezbollah from government
The Yemeni government (the one fighting the Houthis, loyal to Iran in Yemen) is returning its ambassador from Lebanon amid remarks by Lebanese Information Minister George Qardahi about the war in Yemen
Earlier today, the Lebanese Foreign Minister announced that Saudi Orabia’s demands on Minister Qardahi’s issue are impossible, including the Saudi demand to prevent Hezbollah from being part of the government. According to the Lebanese minister, there have been no contacts between Lebanon and Saudi Orabia since the formation of the Mikati government (the new government in Lebanon) and that the only hope is a Qatari mediation between the parties
