El Al flight LY2653, returns to Tel Aviv for an emergency landing after one of its tires exploded

EL AL planeAn El Al flight from Tel Aviv to Kiev, Ukraine is returning to Ben Gurion Airport on Thursday night, after flight crew discovered one of its tires exploded , Israeli media reported Thursday evening

The plane, a Boeing 737 flying under the flight number LY2653 which was carrying 182 passengers, was set to make an emergency landing around midnight local time, the report added.

The plane has dumped its fuel into the sea in preparation for the landing in Ben-Gurion Airport

    Amazingly, as these two stories show, Aircraft can get themselves into trouble even without the average terrorist – more often than not.
