Arab-Kurdish fighters expel IS group from Manbij in Syria’s Aleppo province

Arab and Kurdish fighters have expelled Islamic State group jihadists from Manbij in Aleppo province, bringing an end to a long ordeal for those who remained in the city during weeks of fighting, and are now flushing out the last remaining militants.

A strategic location in Aleppo province, Manbij is now nearly deserted and few buildings have escaped the fighting unscathed. Arab and Kurdish fighters from the Syrian Democratic Forces, backed by air support from the US-led coalition, have successfully wrested control of the city from Islamic State group jihadists.

The victory came as the United Nations called Tuesday for an urgent humanitarian ceasefire in the city of Aleppo, in which it said 2 million residents were without access to running water or electricity after attacks hit civilian infrastructure last week.

“The UN is extremely concerned that the consequences will be dire for millions of civilians if the electricity and water networks are not immediately repaired,” said a statement from the UN’s humanitarian coordinators for Syria.

Doubtful that ‘water systems’ can be repaired ‘now’, idiots … maybe in a few months there could be something like Lebanese have … don’t open a mouth or eyes while showering in it … of course.

The really curious word being used here is, of course, “expelled” … one would have expected to hear they killed ALL the bastards. Kids get ‘expelled’ from a school for misbehaving … I doubt any one of them learned a lesson from it, although apparently some threw up their hands in another place and turned themselves in for their own ‘safety’ reasons.

There was a Saudi cleric who travelled to Aleppo he prayed with Fatah al Sham (conquest of Syria), declaring fatwas against traitors, (other groups), scary people.

Good thing the Army got some more ‘help’ from Yankee supply stores, because those idiots just won’t stop trying to sneak back in.
