LBCI reported that Gunmen in a Mercedes car with tinted windows fired at a vegetable pickup truck on the Byblos -Tripoli highway, just north Lebanon capital Beirut , wounding one person .

In another development LBCI reported that the General Security detained 3 people, including Syrians and Lebanese who are part of a terrorist network that was planning to plant explosives and carry out terrorist acts.
Update: Rabih Youssef , the driver of the pickup was the person who was injured in the abdomen, according to NOW.
Youssef, who hails from the northern Lebanese area of Akkar, was transferred to a hospital in Byblos.
The motives behind the shooting incident are still unknown.
