MIG shot down by Syria rebels in Aleppo; Al Jazeera,

Insurgents shot down a MIG jet over the town of Aleppo. It has been reported by Ahmad Zeidan, reporter in Aleppo for the pan-Arab al-Jazeera TV.

Speaking live on the phone, Zeidan said that the battle of Salah ad Din has started and that the rebels said they had also destroyed five tanks belonging to the government.

Zeidan also added that between rebels and government at the moment there are dozens of wounded.

    I thought the plane was destroyed on the ground in or near the Aleppo airport unless this is a second Mig. If this is Mig number two it’s a bad day for the Syrian Air Force. LOL
