Syrian army shooting at its citizens inside Lebanon

Share:

A Syrian army patrol crossed the Lebanese border near the northern town Mouanse on Thursday as it was chasing its citizens who were fleeing the violence , the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) said.

“The patrol crossed the border and entered around 200 meters into Lebanese territory, while shooting at fleeing Syrian citizens ,” according to an LAF statement.

It also said that the patrol returned to the Syrian side of the territory “but kept shooting in the direction of the Lebanese territories”

“The shooting caused slight damage to one of the Lebanese military vehicles,” the LAF said, adding that it is coordinating with the Syrian army concerning the incident.

With a government that is heavily influence by the Iranian and Syrian-backed Hezbollah , Lebanon is not expected to file any complaints to the UN over the incident which is a blatant violation of Lebanon’s , sovereignty according to local observers

foreign(syrian) soldiers who cross our border and shoot at us and in our direction are a negligeable threat compared to those IDF soldiers who dared trim a tree on the border.

lol, is it me or does “coordinating with syrian army”  sound like another calculated obscure statement?
what did they mean by it? and how does one coordinate with those shooting at him? seems like the LAF is working for the assad thugs too.

We can hope the Syrians have a good insurance plan that will pay for repair of ‘slight damage to one of the Lebanese military vehicles’ …. I assume it comes under ‘No Fault’ clauses.

everything the syrians do comes under the “no fault” clause, all the assassinations and calculated destruction of villages and systematical raping and murdering lebanese christians came under the “no fault” clause too aparently…
