Israel uses new anti-missile system as Gaza flares

Share:

An Israeli missile intercepted a rocket fired from Gaza on Thursday in the first known use of Israel’s Iron Dome anti-missile shield, a Reuters photographer said.

The anti-missile weapon, deployed recently, was launched as fighting flared with Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip after militants fired an anti-tank weapon that hit an Israeli school bus, injuring two.

The photographer said the missile was fired at a rocket which appeared to be aimed at the Israeli city of Ashkelon, just north of Gaza. Reuters

    lek lawayn weslou…

while the palestinians are still busy to agree to sit down on one table and discuss who should lead them.

they should really wake up…the weapons from iran only increased complexity to their cause.

time to realise the few rockets they have are not enough.

    1. Really Antar??!! And lay down and die instead! They are living in a jail prison deprived of the most basic of needs, they “negotiated” for litterly over a decade and all that earned them was more walls, settlements, and greater humiliation!! the means does not justify the ends akhi…the means hamas is choosing is not ideal.

i should also clarified that the weapons hamas on their own are not enough.

they need to unite with their fellow palestians which is the best option for their cause.

they cannot afford to be like hizbollah in lebanon.

you have to realise that greater humiliation and blockade and so is the result of something much more then the criminal zionist state in palestine. the way hamas is choosing to free its pple must be revised.

there must be a better option for palestianians.

it is important to note, while condemning the actions of hizbollah with its policies, i would not wish the zionist to invade and destroy them one by one. they are our fellow lebanese after all.

as lebanese we do wish the best for our fellow citizens even if they are misguided. we have our duaas to them…may Allah guide them.
