Army, Hezbollah dismantle an Israeli spy device in south Lebanon

New TV has reported that the Lebanese army intelligence and Hezbollah dismantled Tuesday afternoon an Israeli spy device was located between the towns of Ansar and al-Zrarieh in south Lebanon.

The spy device had been transmitting information to Israeli reconnaissance planes, the report added.

Last December Lebanon army intelligence discovered and dismantled several Israeli spying devices in Toumat Niha , in the Shouf region east of Beirut and Mount Sannine in the upper Metn region .

Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs filed a complaint last December with the UN Security Council through its permanent mission at the UN over Israeli spying devices

    its strange hizballah want let the lebanese army near any of there strong hold as they keep saying the do not trust the army as the have many spy on then and every time cleaver hizballah find them spying device contacted the army and they dismantled them together make you thing how on eath hizballah keep finding them spy ?does he plant the damnthing there himself or what

      Because Hezbollah is resistance and can only conduct anti-spying procedures under the authority of the state. Scanning for, and the detection of spy devices is not illegal under Lebanese law, but the state must authorize any arrests, detentions, removals, etc. To answer your question in a nutshell, because Hezbollah needs the state’s approval.
