Al Diyar Newspaper has reported that the investigation indicated that the plane exploded in the air, but the bodies and remains of the victims that were found did not reveal any signs of any burns from the explosion…

Ethiopian Airlines flight ET409 crashed minutes after takeoff on Jan 25 . All the 90 passengers and crew on board are feared dead. Both black boxes were recovered but the Cockpit Voice Recorder ( CVR) was incomplete. Images show that the Honeywell recorder’s chassis had been found but the cylindrical memory unit, and its attached locator beacon, were missing.

Recovery personnel are still searching for the remaining parts, the ministry says.

The flight-data recorder (FDR) was recovered earlier this week, and has been sent to the French Bureau d’Enquetes et d’Analyses for examination.
