Conflicting reports emerged regarding the Turkish detainee held by Saraya al-Mukhtar al-Thaqafi, Abdel Baset Orslan. Some reports confirmed his release and the release of the rest of the detainees and handing them over to the Director General of the General Security Abbas Ibrahim.
However, the Turkish ambassador told LBCI that they did not receive official information on the release of the Turkish detainee held by Saraya al-Mukhtar al-Thaqafi, noting that they were informed that Turkish detainee held by al-Meqdad is in good health.
