US House panel OKs bill to call Muslim Brotherhood terror group

muslim brotherhood logoThe Republican-led House Judiciary Committee has approved legislation calling on the State Department to label the Muslim Brotherhood a foreign terrorist organization.

Lawmakers voted Wednesday along party lines, 17-10.

Supporters say if the measure is signed into law, the U.S. would have to deny admittance to individuals who are tied to the Brotherhood but aren’t U.S. citizens or U.S. nationals.

Individuals who provide material support to the group would face criminal penalties.

The bill would allow the Treasury Department to require U.S. banks and financial institutions to block transactions involving assets held by the Brotherhood.

The Brotherhood says it’s a peaceful charitable and political group. The group is considered a terrorist organization by Saudi Arabia and by Egypt, where former Brotherhood leader Mohammed Morsi was ousted as president in 2013.

      That picture is hezbollah isn’t it? They seem confused at yalibnan? If this bill goes through then technically wouldn’t qatar and turkey be deemed to supporting terrorists? They both support the Muslim brotherhood!! Egypt was a battle between qatar and turkey against saudia arabia and emirates.

        Yes they do, but you are confused as well by what I say.
        This is it HA , S Arabia, Turkey Iran , brotherhood and many Arab and western groups are terrorist many but when one says that a group they support is not than I call that brainwashed.

    Since the Brotherhood’s stated goal is to instill the Qur’an and Sunnah as the “sole reference point for … ordering the life of the Muslim family, individual, community … and state and its mottos include “Believers are but Brothers”, “Islam is the Solution”, and “Allah is our objective; the Qur’an is the Constitution; the Prophet is our leader; jihad is our way; death for the sake of Allah is our wish.” this organisation is far from a peaceful movement.

            We don’t have any Jewish extremists that the Verfassungsschutzes (the german Constitutional protection) is preoccupied with, however the Islamic Resistance Movement HAMAS, the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood is represented through a subsidiary organization in Germany.
            Their interests are represented in the Federal Republic of Islamic Federation Palestine (IBP). In Niedersachsen, only individual members and officials of this association are located.
            For the range of the Algerian Muslim Brotherhood, there are only individual members. In Lower Saxony beyond an association is registered, of which some members are the Tunisian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, the En-Nahda attributable.

            However if you insist to blend in “Settlers Jewish extremists Talmud is same..” , then see the controversies with the Muslim Brothers in Sweden.
            In March 2011 the swedish ‘Daily News’ revealed that the Islamic Association of Sweden invited Professor Salah Sultan as one of the keynote speakers at a conference organized by the organization in Stockholm on 24-26 December 2010.

            The Sultan has among other things been known to spread allegations of Jewish ritual murders and an alleged jewish world conspiracy.
            Abdirizak waberi, which at the time of the conference was the president of the federation, announced the ‘Daily News’ after seeing the Sultan’s statements: “I am surprised how he expresses himself. We have invited him in good faith “.
