Another 6 Hezbollah members killed in Qalamun, Syria near Lebanon border

Hezbollah-Flag6Β Β Hezbollah members have Β reportedly Β been killed in an ambush by the Qaida-linked al-Nusra Front in Syria’s Qalamun districtΒ Β near the border with Lebanon, Β Al-Jazeera television said Wednesday adding that Β the six men were killed when al-Nusra targeted theirΒ β€œsupply vehicles” in Qalamun.

TheΒ UAE-based Orient News TVΒ also confirmed thatΒ al-Nusra carried out a β€œmajor operation” against a HezbollahΒ β€œsupply convoy” in the Syrian region.

β€œActivists reported a huge explosion against a HezbollahΒ supply convoy in Qalamun and the loud blast was heard across the region,” the TV stationΒ Β said.

Tens of thousands of Hezbollah fighters are actively trying to save theΒ regime of the embattled president Bashar al AssadΒ .

Hezbollah ‘sΒ involvement helped the Syrian army recapture most of Qalamun from rebel hands, but at a great loss of life .

Hundreds of Hezbollah fighters have been killed so far in Syria

In early January, five Β members of the Iranian-backed Hezbollah Β Β were reportedly killed when the al-Qaida-affiliated Nusra Front Β  attacked posts controlled by the Lebanese party and the Syrian army in the Qalamun town of Flita.

There is nothing you can say Mek that will turn me into an atheist… I have tried to look at it from all angles. I have tried not to believe to reconcile with my scientific training. I am a scientist at heart with a Ph.D. (not from sa3sa3) πŸ˜‰ in the life sciences. I was one of the pioneers to set up several diagnostic assays in the medical labs that are still in use today. Then I published papers on marrow homing (a first), which is saving countless lives, while I went for a minor in computer science. I have read the work of Sam Harris (an atheist), Richard Dawkins (another Atheist) and others…

Yet inside there is this strong feeling of the “essence”, the consciousness, the awakening, which I cannot explain and I am not alone in the scientific community: πŸ˜‰

You are not talking here to some blind person who just got brain washed by someone… it took a lot of self inspection and studies and readings to come to my conclusion.

I am sorry to disappoint you but your discourse is the other spectrum of Da3esh πŸ˜›

I do not want you to believe NOR NOT to believe… I do not target you in my discourse. I am just stating what I see and believe… I am ok with you either way.

“In philosophy, essence is the attribute or set of attributes that make an entity or substance what it fundamentally is, and which it has by necessity, and without which it loses its identity. Essence is contrasted with accident: a property that the entity or substance has contingency, without which the substance can still retain its identity. The concept originates with Aristotle, who used the Greek expression to ti Γͺn einai (Ο„α½Έ τί αΌ¦Ξ½ Ξ΅αΌΆΞ½Ξ±ΞΉ,[1] literally meaning “the what it was to be” and corresponding to the scholastic term quiddity) or sometimes the shorter phrase to ti esti (Ο„α½Έ τί ἐστι,[2] literally meaning “the what it is” and corresponding to the scholastic term haecceity) for the same idea. This phrase presented such difficulties for its Latin translators that they coined the word essentia (English “essence”) to represent the whole expression. For Aristotle and his scholastic followers, the notion of essence is closely linked to that of definition (α½ΟΞΉΟƒΞΌΟŒΟ‚ horismos).[3]
In the history of western thought, essence has often served as a vehicle for doctrines that tend to individuate different forms of existence as well as different identity conditions for objects and properties; in this eminently logical meaning, the concept has given a strong theoretical and common-sense basis to the whole family of logical theories based on the “possible worlds” analogy set up by Leibniz and developed in the intensional logic from Carnap to Kripke, which was later challenged by “extensionalist” philosophers such as Quine.”

The gist of the papers concentrated on using fetal proteins to block certain receptors to maximize the bone marrow cells (stem cells) in transplant patients (undergoing chemo and radiation) so the cells “home” to where they belong namely the marrow. In general certain receptors in liver cells or spleen “trap” the good cells and they never reach their destination making the treatment less effective.

I understand, I thought about that after I asked. Really cool stuff. I googled it and lots of papers come up. I’ll read a few knowing you helped lay the foundation for their research. Now they’re using viruses and nano robots to “home” in on tumor cells. Do you still work in this field? What exactly do you do if you don’t mind me asking?

nano is still experimental but some is making its way through using phospholipids as coats to the particles… You can find very effective vitamin C supplements (and others) making their way in encapsulated nano particles and some pharmaceuticals are encapsulating chemo agents but it is still experimental. These new particles are still “dumb” but target the cell membranes better. We still have a long way to go.

“Hegel gave the most systematic and profound expression to the idea of the productive man, of the individual who is he, inasmuch as he is not passive-receptive, but actively related to the world; who is an individual only in this process of grasping the world productively, and thus making it his own. He expressed the idea quite poetically by saying that the subject wanting to bring a content to realization does so by “translating itself from the night of possibility into the day of actuality.” For Hegel the development of all individual powers, capacities and potentialities is possible only by continuous action, never by sheer contemplation or receptivity. For Spinoza, Goethe, Hegel, as well as for Marx, man is alive only inasmuch as he is productive, inasmuch as he grasps the world outside of himself in the act of expressing his own specific human powers, and of grasping the world with these powers.
Inasmuch as man is not productive, inasmuch as he is receptive and passive, he is nothing, he is dead. In this productive process, man realizes his own essence, he returns to his own essence, which in theological language is nothing other than his return to God.”

The aim of society, for Marx, is not the production of useful things as an aim in itself. One easily forgets, he says, “that the production of too many useful things results in too many useless people.” [52] The contradictions between prodigality and thrift, luxury and abstinence, wealth and poverty, are only apparent because the truth is that all these antinomies are equivalent. It is particularly important to understand this position of Marx today, when both the Communist, and most of the Socialist parties, with some notable exceptions like the Indian, also Burmese and a number of European and American socialists, have accepted the principle which underlies all capitalist systems, namely, that maximum production and consumption are the unquestionable goals of society. One must of course not confuse the aim of overcoming the abysmal poverty which interferes with a dignified life, with the aim of an ever-increasing consumption, which has become the supreme value for both Capitalism and Krushchevism. Marx’s position was quite clearly on the side of the conquest of poverty, and equally against consumption as a supreme end.
