Salam in no rush to form a cabinet, refuses to be pushed

tammam salam def 2Lebanon’s Prime Minister-designate Tammam Salam said that he is no rush to form a new government and refuses to be pushed .

“I refuse to rush the formation of the new government; however, I am not with delaying it because the country needs a government,” Salam said in a statement following his Tuesday meeting with President Michel Suleiman.

The PM-designate stressed that discussions are ongoing regarding the distribution of portfolios.

“We want to enhance harmony within the country,” he continued.

    But IS he pushing the ‘simple servants’ to perform their job functions properly in the meantime?? Government workers don’t need a ‘Minister’ or a cabinet to do a job. And they can run with the ‘old rules’ until someone finds a way to change them.
