Lebanese journalist Fidaa Itani who was held in northern Syria by the rebels fighting President Bashar al-Assad has been freed and arrived at Beirut airport Thursday at 10 pm .
Information minister Walid Daouk met Itani at the airport.
Itani did not say much but when asked about the the situation in Syria he said that there is a real problem with the Syrian revolution which is in real danger . When asked to elaborate he said ” we will talk later”.
When asked about the remaining 9 Lebanese hostages in Syria he said: “The Lebanese authorities should make a serious move to try and free them.”
