Syrian rebels on Friday abducted three reporters who work for state TV as they accompanied government troops operating near Damascus, Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported.

“Three Syrian journalists who work for state television were captured by rebels while they were on assignment, accompanying soldiers in Al-Tal,” just north of Damascus, the monitoring group said.

I think, by this time, some of ‘Assad’s People’ are standing on the street saying: “Please kidnap me!!”.

Will the producers, newscasters, and cameramen defect now? then they can have Muallem as the newscaster. Did yo see the Makdisi man on TV in past days and weeks/ did he remind you of anyone else? the Libyan man who kept on going but more interestingly there was an Iraqi officer who kept on saying things are OK, and Saddam is in charge and we are killing the terrorists, even after Saddams’ statue came down he was still saying that we are defeating the American hands on foot. I have just remembered his name – Sahhaf.
He is best known for his grandiose and grossly unrealistic propaganda broadcasts prior to and during the war, extolling the invincibility of the Iraq Army and the permanence of Saddam’s rule. His announcements were intended for an Iraqi domestic audience subject to Saddam’s cult of personality and total state censorship,
and were met with widespread derision and amusement by Western
nationals and others with access to up-to-date information from
international media organizations. Westerners had nicknamed him “Baghdad Bob”.
We now have one for Bashar’s cult personality. Bil rooh, Bil dam, Bil (I forgot the third one- what was it)
