Free Syrian Army’s Lieutenant Colonel Khaled Hamoud revealed to Al Sharq al Awsat newspaper in remarks published on Thursday that 203 members of the Syrian army, including 3 officers defected on Wednesday to the Free Syrian army with their arms and ammunition.
According to Hamoud a the whole battalion which was based in a rural area near Damascus (close to Qalamoun ) defected
