Jumblatt: Turkey is keen to isolate Lebanon from Syrian crisis

Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblatt said in a statement on Thursday following his return from a trip to Ankara that Turkey is keen on not allowing the Syrian crisis to affect Lebanon.

Jumblatt stressed the importance of maintaining stability in Lebanon to avert any repercussions the Syrian crisis may have on the country.

Jumblatt who met Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu also said that the political solution alone is enough to end the Syrian crisis

“The political solution alone will end the Syrian regime’s violence against protesters”, he said

    As if Mr. Davutogly has a sway over Pres. Assad or Party Of God, those two that can create problems for Lebanon what pull does Turkey has with this two, i think this is an attempt in vane.

    The POLITICAL SOLUTION ???
    The one that should have been made 11 months ago?? Did Jumblatt notice all the graves ???
    And yes, keep Lebanon out of it, if anyone can. 12,000 refugees are hard enough to handle …..

    the fate of the free lebanese people will be exactly like those killed or burned in syria by the hand of aasad family!
    that what faqih ideology roadmap will be implemented in lebanon by hezboshytan (kill,hate,blackshirt,doom,burn,threats,7of may,hariri killing,….)
