World’s most expensive accident? 8 Ferraris, 1 Lamborghini & 2 Mercedes

Share:

An outing of luxury sportscar enthusiasts in Japan ended in an expensive freeway pileup — smashing a stunning eight Ferraris, a Lamborghini and two Mercedes likely worth more than $1 million together.

Police say they believe the accident Sunday was touched off when the driver of one of the Ferraris tried to change lanes and hit the median barrier. He spun across the freeway, and the other cars collided while trying to avoid hitting his car.

Video of the crash aired by NTV, a major national network, showed several smashed, bright red Ferraris cluttering the freeway.

Even a used Ferrari in Japan can fetch $100,000 or more, meaning the total damage may be $1 million or more.

Police declined to comment on the total amount of damage, but said some of the vehicles were beyond repair.

NTV quoted the driver of one of the tow trucks brought in to clear the scene as saying it was the most expensive crash site he had ever seen.

No one was seriously injured, but police in Yamaguchi prefecture said 10 people were treated for bruises and cuts. Police say 14 cars were involved altogether.

The luxury cars were all in one place because they were being driven by a group of automobile enthusiasts on their way to nearby Hiroshima.

    How important is this story?
Who cares if few spoiled kids decided to smash their expensive toys on a freeway?
Would n’t be more honorable of yalibana if it dedicated this time and space on its site for a story that highlights poverty in Africa,or even in Lebanon?

Oh tsk Prophet. Something ‘light’ on occasion can’t hurt.
Boys and their toys are a favourite anytime. 🙂 Just check out YouTube. 🙂
Everyone loves it when symbols of success in life go down, don’t they? 😉

Did you say Boys and toys?lol
Girls and toys are fun, for sure. But boys? I would not know, nor would I want to know.lol
Not sure if success is only measured by crashing a quarter of a million dollar car,or even owning one of them.
I’m all for success,5th,,and I DON’T envy those who are very successful. But I oppose those who flash their success unnecessarily, and I oppose those who ,sometimes , go on dangerous adventures, and expect people to rescue them when they get in trouble.

Oh … I agree on those dangerous trips … like cyclists on holiday in weird countries, it’s not just the road that has danger. We DO need to make decisions on so many things … it’s a wonder some of us last as long as we do. 🙂
And I remember girls … some very well. Talk about danger ….. 🙂

5th, I gather from your second reply that you have retired from  the pleasure of girls as well as your work,But at least your memory is still alive.lol

I liked that reply Prophet … but it’s not just in memory … the problem is trying to get anything under 30 into the back seat – even if I have all day to work at it. 🙂
And … you can see now how much interest the ‘cars’ article produced. Hahahahaha

Ya Libnan needs another button to rate comments just for this jackass prophet. Clearly his mom didn’t tell him to shut the f**k up enough as a child, and that just means we have to step up and compensate.

      1. Yoh Jean, lighten up man.

Wow Libnan, this is the first time I’ve you post something that doesn’t involve an ode professing your deep love for Aoun. Thank you for taking my feedback to heart, you have changed for the better.

As for lightening up, you are clearly asking the wrong person. Just read Prophet’s comments – someone needs to pull that prickly stick out of his ass!

        2. Jean, I guess you don’t like AOUN … it’s above and beyond me why some people don’t like him, but that is OK … someone at yalibnan read your comment and posted a story about our fearless leader.

You know Jean some people like prickly sticks especially the ones with small bouncing balls ….:)

I would not even give him enough respect to reply to his comment. But,IF  I were to do that, I’d just say that every prophet was rejected by  haters, negative people, and  ignorant people.
Haters are like cricket, they make lots of noise, when you walk by them, they are quiet.hate is the anger of those who are just weak.
Negative people;Well,  we just need to  be vigilant, and guard our minds against their negative thoughts.
As for the ignorant ones, I just wish them well, and try to stay away from them because they are the most dangers.
I know he will get pissed off even more now.lol

hahaha, what’s really sad is this moron has taken his stage name a little too far, and really thinks he’s a prophet. I actually feel sorry for the poor guy now. Maybe he’s got mental issues – the last thing I want is to be that *guy* that bullies around retarded kids.
