I wholeheartedly disagree with this statement. The fact he was unarmed, and supposedly shot in front of his family is disturbing to me… No matter the crime, every man deserves a trial. Due process is one of the most fundamentally protected American values and we should apply it to everyone (Timothy Mcveigh got a trial, so did Saddam Hussein). Even a military tribunal would have been sufficient. After he is condemned by a judge, then kill him.

Mohamad I would agree with you and I am frankly and totally against any killings even if guilty. But we were not there and there were various statements issued on whether he was armed or not. But he admitted to many plots and killings and also thousands of people where killed and slaughtered at his orders. So it makes tough to shield what he has done. If he was to be brought alive. do you know how many attacks you will certainly invite against the US. I am sure now they will be attacks but with him alive it would make it tough to handle a long term trial. No matter what the US will do it won’t look fair to the eyes of many. Peace Bro and have a great day.

        M&M,
Being a strong advocate and a believer in due process, and a New Yorker who watched the world trade center towers in flame before both collapsed ,with my own eye, I would say that ,None of the victims at the world trade center were armed, nor was any of the people who were on the planes that were hijacked and used as human missiles.Bin laden admitted openly his responsibility of the 911 attack, and other attacks in other countries,as well as attacks which were foiled by authorities.

        1. You give him too much credit… he was a used dork incapable of that much of an elaborate scheme. Ask Walid Jumblatt… He knows who did it. A due process and a trial was an impossibility because the truth would emerge. Conspiracy Theory? Anyone? LOL

        4. I know buddy, I am not defending what he did, but he is a terrorist, and we live in a democracy…just because he does not want to follow the rule of law doesn’t mean we should stoop to his level

i cannot agree with you more brother.

this operation looks only to be advocating for revange rather then justice.

the poor children…to see their unarmed father shot [brutally apparently because of the hesitance in realsing the photos] and then left there till the pakistani officials arrive is nothing short then barbaric.

he should have been arrested…his children should have been looked after ‘mercfully” and then he should have been put on a trial….something every human deserves in the name of justice.

anyone who denies the right for Osama bin laden to have had a trial is unconsciously giving an excuse for all the terrorist that Bin laden raised to act more violantly…

    something to be reminded of’
US help train and fund him many years ago, shouldn’t they shoulder part of the blame for helping training a mass murderer who when he finished with the Russians turned on them?

Its not the first time the US has done something like this, we’ve all seen the photos of Rumsfeld cuddling Saddam

Usa have no clear evidance that osama bin laden is actually behind the attack.

his killing sends only one message… and that is definetly NOT justice.

America claimed to follow International Law, and in this instance, as in the past, it threw it out the window, showing themselves to be hypocrites and no better than the criminals they claim to be against.

not only hypocrites but liers…When they say they gave Osama bin Laden a Muslim burial at sea, I bet the Navy Seals rolled him out of the Helicopter & shot him to pieces.”

The American Armed Forces actually caring about how he gets buried? Give me a break!
