Egyptian Imam of Al-Azhar Mosque Dr. 
Ahmad Mohammad al-Tayeb urged supporters of and opponents to President Hosni Mubarak to end the violence, Al-Arabiya television reported on Wednesday.
His call comes after the Egyptian Health Ministry also announced on Wednesday that one person was killed and 403 others were injured during the clashes that took place in the Tahrir Square in Cairo.
