Lebanon court fines Wahab for disturbing peace

Former minister Wiam Wahhab was fined by a Beirut court 10 million LL for “distributing fabricated news that disturbed the general peace” and directed him to pay an additional one million each to Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea and Simon al-Hajj as a compensation, National News Agency (NNA) reported.

The decision came in response to a law suit filed by Geagea and Hajj after Wahhab said on New TV and Al-Manar TV that the LF is conducting weapons training in the Chouf under the supervision of the Progressive Socialist Party.

Wahab, a staunch ally of Hezbollah and Syria has been actively campaigning against the Special Tribunal for Lebanon( STL) . Today he said : If the international efforts to target Lebanon through the STL and targeting the resistance ( Hezbollah) continue, then we will definitely take a position and harsh measures against all who cooperate with them.

    10 Millions or 100 millions what difference does it make. If the court comes to collect the Money, hezbollah thugs will be waiting on the streets to shoot anyone who try to do it. Thugs protecting their own turf and territory.. They say the gov’t didn’t protect them in the South. But again they’re acting with the same lawlessness like the PLO did before and many other extremists groups. So much for the resistance this scum out to have bunker buster dropped on him so we have less headache listening to him. If Geageo was speaking negative all the monkies of march 8th come out attacking him. But wahab never have had anything positive to say. He’s the cousin of Nassrallah the Lucifer of evil and destruction..

    Ohh I know, I know; this called slander and libel. I niether intend to be on any one’s side nor I condone for any one to possess any weapons except for the Lebanese army, but it is ok for HA to conduct weopon training. What a hypocrite!!!!!!!!!
