Hamas, Fatah to attempt reconciliation

Fatah officials will meet with Hamas politburo chief Khaled Masha’al in Damascus to discuss Palestinian unity, a Hamas official in Gaza said.

Mahmoud al-Zahar, a Hamas official in Gaza told Ma’an news agency the meeting was set for Thursday to bring an end to the ongoing dispute.

Fatah Central Committee member Azzam al-Ahmad said Wednesday he doubted a unity deal would be achieved, Ma’an reported.

Palestinian officials said al-Ahmad will be accompanied by Sakher Bseiso and Nasser Yousef.

Al-Ahmad said he had already attended several meetings in Lebanon with Hamas representative Osama Hamdan in recent months.

“We will see what they have to offer,” the agency quoted him saying Wednesday.

Earlier this week, the London daily al-Hayat said forging Palestinian unity is crucial to any prospect for a Palestinian state based on peace with Israel. Hamas has so far rejected a pact proposed by Egypt to end its row with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’s Fatah party.

The newspaper said to help reconcile the two factions, Egyptian intelligence chief Gen. Omar Suleiman met Masha’al in Saudi Arabia earlier this month . UPI

      Hey Maria, That’s exactly what Israel wants.
      Palestinians living in the west bank can get a visa to Europe or the USA much easier than those living in Ghazza, especially Christian Palestinians.
      Most Christian towns are empty. They all moved to the USA.
      The plan is to make all Christians leave the Middle East (especially historic Palestine), and eventually remove remaining Palestinians out of historic Palestine, so the Messiah would come to a pure Jewish Israel.
      Christian right, in America share the same plan for different reason. They expect Jesus to come back to a pure Jewish land, and then convert the Jews into Christianity. Those who refuse to convert are to be killed. This is the main reason Christian right support Israel. Both, Jews and Christian rights want a pure Jewish state for different reason.

        ya aflatone inta, it is easier for a plaestinian to get a visa then most people in the world as each country is obligated to absorb X amount of palestinians each year. In libon a palestinian can get a visa in no time and recieve 25k to come to canada while a libonais has to go thru a difficult process and get turned down numerous times before making any head way.           palestinians getting financial incentives to relocate to a developed country has been around for quite some time. I look at there situation as dire but lets be fair here, libon has payed the most for them considering what the other coward arabs have done, why doesnt syria, saudi, uae, jordan, egypt or any of these cowards go and liberate them? they get to live in peace at their expense, for crying out loud, the jordanian coward bombed the life out of them and no one makes mention of that, egypt blocks supplies and shoots them at the border, syria? well syria uses everyones cause to exist, without strife the syrian agenda would collapse, gulf countries? haha those fat bastards, enough said. My question to you is why should libon il m3affin have to absorb and deal with this problem? why is HA the only army defending the palestinians? bottom line these people are used and abused by their leaders and so called friends so my solution would be for them to try and leave that place and have families abroad rather than compete to become the biggest concentration camp in the world, which gaza holds that record with over a million.       I never knew it was that easy for a Palestinian to simply get a Visa and move to a developed country. In that case 3anjad they are weird people.. right?! it seems like they choose and enjoy to live in $hith*les.. besides like you claim they are cockroaches, so it makes sense.. right!?

        ya aflatone inta, it is easier for a plaestinian to get a visa then most people in the world as each country is obligated to absorb X amount of palestinians each year. In libon a palestinian can get a visa in no time and recieve 25k to come to canada while a libonais has to go thru a difficult process and get turned down numerous times before making any head way. So I totally sympathize with the people who support Hamas cause they are in constant War and deprivation and they are mainly the ones suffering.

          palestinians getting financial incentives to relocate to a developed country has been around for quite some time. I look at there situation as dire but lets be fair here, libon has payed the most for them considering what the other coward arabs have done, why doesnt syria, saudi, uae, jordan, egypt or any of these cowards go and liberate them? they get to live in peace at their expense, for crying out loud, the jordanian coward bombed the life out of them and no one makes mention of that, egypt blocks supplies and shoots them at the border, syria? well syria uses everyones cause to exist, without strife the syrian agenda would collapse, gulf countries? haha those fat bastards, enough said. My question to you is why should libon il m3affin have to absorb and deal with this problem? why is HA the only army defending the palestinians? bottom line these people are used and abused by their leaders and so called friends so my solution would be for them to try and leave that place and have families abroad rather than compete to become the biggest concentration camp in the world, which gaza holds that record with over a million. Also dont complain about your problems when you elected hamass to govern you. I dont think the situation would have gotten this bad if hamass was not in the picture. This issue has been on going for over 60 years, either retake the country which cannot be done or leave and move on.

      honestly many of the things you are saying are agreeable. The Arabs are sha3ib khara since they are treating the Palestinians as such. And Yes the Libonais (they have class though.. and not smelly hehehe..Remeber they wear emporio armani to get coffee from starbucks LOL) shouldn’t have to deal with the Palestinian issue especially not solo. besssss this is besides the point of naming them name and treating them as if they want to impose them selves on us and not go back to their land, or not be persecuted everyday.
