10 wounded in a clash during wedding in south Lebanon

Share:

Even weddings can get violent .

A dispute between the families of the bride and groom led to a clash that resulted in the injury of at least 10 people.

Sticks, knives and empty bottles were used in the clash .

Both the bride and groom are from the al Zein family , but one is from al Mansouriyeh and the other is from Burj el Shimali. Both villages are near Tyre( Sour) in south Lebanon

The Internal Security forces intervened to end the fighting and the wounded were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the incident

  1. IF “FUTURE FAMILIES” FROM NEIGHBORING VILLAGES CANT EVEN GET ALONG WITH EACH OTHER, HOW CAN WE EXPECT TO GET ALONG WITH ANYONE ELSE? WE WONDER WHY SYRIA CONTROLLED US FOR SO MANY YEARS? BECAUSE APPARENTLY WE DONT KNOW HOW TO CONTROL OURSELVES. THIS IS DISCUSTING

    1. Why generalize? Family disputes happens in every country and every community… Why should we justify being controlled by Syria just because of something silly like this… This is ridiculous… Overall, community crimes in Lebanon are so rare compared to other countries… We just haven’t figured out how to address political crimes, and that is because political crimes have gone unpunished for decades, which is why the STL is need to let politicians know that things are different now.

  2. Lol….wow! Why am I not surprised. Are the bride and groom cousins?

  3. Ask to UNIFIL for a Special Tribunal

if they only used sticks knives and empty bottles with no rockets i can assure you h/a has nothing to do with it.

the two zein families sure give a new bloody meaning to the old saying “ariss ez zein yethanna”

LMAO I could just imagine them all fighting to Dominique Houranis song – Khashouka.

  9. Umm interesting maybe they should’ve done a dabka dance off instead of the fight. Although this wouldn’t be lebanon, good fun anyway, maybe the music was boring.
