The White House on Sunday said “time is running out” for Iran to address global concerns about its nuclear program, after the Iranian government reportedly approved a plan to build 10 new uranium-enrichment facilities. White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said that the reports, if true, “would be yet another serious violation of Iran’s clear obligations under multiple U.N. Security Council resolutions, and another example of Iran choosing to isolate itself.” The U.N. has demanded Iran halt its nuclear program.
