Syria Says Terrorists Kill 3 in TV Station Attack

Share:

Syria’s state-run news agency says an “armed terrorist group” killed three people during an attack on a pro-government television station.

SANA said terrorists planted explosives during the attack early Wednesday at the headquarters of the al-Ikhbaria satellite channel, but did not say how the employees died.

Syria often uses the term “armed terrorists” to label the rebels leading the revolt against President Bashar al-Assad’s nearly 12-year rule.

Assad addressed his new Cabinet on Tuesday, 15 months into the uprising, and expressed the need to focus the government on the fighting.

“And we are living,as I said before the People’s Assembly, in a state of war, a genuine state of war in all its aspects, with all that those words mean,” he said. “And when we are living in a state of war, all our policies, all our directions and all our agencies are focused on winning that war.”

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says the Syrian military fired artillery in several rebellious suburbs near central Damascus for the first time on Tuesday. The rights group also reported fighting in the cities of Daraa, Homs, Aleppo, and Deir Ezzor, as well as in Hama and Idlib provinces. The Observatory said Tuesday’s violence killed at least 62 people, more than half of them civilians.

U.N. peacekeeping chief Herve Ladsous told Security Council members the situation in Syria is too dangerous for U.N. monitors to resume work there. Diplomats at Tuesday’s briefing quote Ladsous as saying the observer mission will remain suspended, as it has been since June 16. The U.N. official also said the Syrian government refuses to allow the monitors to use satellite telephones, which he called “key tools” of the operation.

The almost 300 unarmed military observers in Syria had come under attack several times with gunfire and bombs in the weeks before they stopped their patrols. The U.N. Security Council must decide by July 20 whether to renew the mission’s mandate.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has a network of contacts in Syria including rebels, activists and state security members. The group says that Syria’s conflict has killed more than 15,800 people. Its reports of fighting and casualties cannot be independently confirmed.

Yes, and they’re loosely referred to as the ‘chinless twins’.

The free Syrian assholes are supposed to be the liberators of
Syria. I’m sure there will be comments about how the government killed
    these people.

After all only the government is killing the innocent

We need to see the actual damage of this attack before concluding this as attack by the Free Syrian Army. So far the Free Syrian Army denied any involvement therefore it can be a false flag operation. The propaganda factory still not resting in pieces. Its alive!! So was it a part of the old obsolete mobile office that was sacrificed in order to create an outrage.

Dog Bashar did this type of attack already so he is also on the suspect list. We see many video of destroyed tank and some army installations and all of them are claimed by the Free Syrian army but the Syrian government do not make a peep.

But here its the government who is blaming the Free Syrian Army where as the FSA denied any involvement!! So we need to wait for some days to find the news behind the news.

There we go, this is typical of you and your ignorant comments.
Like I said your comments humour me so much.

Doesn’t matter what the news says, in your useless opinion its
always the government doing wrong and the Free Syrian assholes always portrayed
as the heroes fighting on the behalf of the people in Syria and the region as a whole.

Unfortunately the only dogs are people with your train of
thought who are one minded and having so much hate for people outside their own
      sect.

The Free Syrian assholes deny this attack. Which means we
should just take their word because they are so incident in all this aren’t they.

This FSA are nothing more than paid mercenaries who would
sell their mother for a dollar. That’s the truth.

I’m sure wargame will accuse the Syrian the Government of dressing
like the FSA to take focus of themselves.

In the opinion of wargame everything happening in Syria should be
        blamed on the Government only.

Every Free Syrian Army must terrorize the Dog Bashars gang and in that case they are terrorist. Just like the Iraqi and Afghan Mujaheddin are terrorizing the invading pigs. Once they are gone home they wont be terrorized any more. When Dog Bashar identify the FSA as armed terrorist gang then it is presumed that Dog bashar is terrified by the terror of the Free Syrian Army.

Those pigs that you are referring to fighting the Mujahedin in Afghanistan are the Americans and their allies who brought education to this ignorant society, they allowed girls to go to school while the Mujahedin are bombing these schools to forbid the girls from learning and force them to stay ignorants. Those pigs that you are referring to brought justice and order to a lawless and in complete disorder country like Afghanistan, and many many other positive things that a blinded person like you cannot see or realize. All the scientific and useful books in your hands, all the technology you are using (including this medium of communications) was created by those pigs. Such an ungrateful, fanatic, blinded person follower of a man who forced others to call him messenger of God.
This said, I am completely against Bashar and his regime and what they are doing with the innocent Syrian people, and this tyrant’s days are coming to an end sooner or later. There is a huge difference between Bashar and your “pigs” in Irak and Afghanistan.

If Basher goes which wont happen, their will be a Sunni run government that will treat everybody equally, just like in Saudi Arabia where woman are treated will dignity and respect. The true Islam.
Furthermore I’m sure every other religion living in Syria who is not Sunni will get a fare chance at living a democratic life.
