7 Hezbollah fighters killed in Syria

Share:

The bodies of seven Hezbollah fighters were reportedly brought from Syria to Basta mosque complex ” Khatem al Al Anbia’a” ( in central Beirut) earlier this week according to local media reports .

The Hezbollah fighters were reportedly helping the Syrian security forces in their crackdown against the pro-democracy protesters , according to local media reports .

The relatives of the dead Hezbollah fighters were reportedly not allowed to hold funerals for them and were instructed to handle their burials quietly in order not to attract any attention

Youth Coalition of the Syrian Revolution leader Wahid Saqr last Friday accused Lebanon’s Hezbollah group of having deployed armed militias in Syria, assisting the regime there in the brutal crackdown of pro-democracy protesters.

Non of the Arab regimes need any help to crush demonstrations, they have enough brutal force to do it on their own. Stop insulting our intelligence. We need more objectivity .
Last year yalibnan ran a story about HA fighters helping Iranian security crush the protesters. The whole claim turned out to be false, yalibnan never substantiated its story, nor did it retract it.
A month ago Yalibnan reported a story about a Syrian army colonel having defected with hundreds of soldiers. No prove was ever shown except “reportedly”,and only on Yalibnan.
Also during that same week, a story ran about HA sending fighters to help the Syrian regime crush the protesters. Not only HA denied the claim( no one has to believe HA either), but Yalibnan never showed any real prove to support its story.
Three weeks ago, Yalibnan ran a story about Syria’s fired Defense Minister being found dead. Within hours, the dead man was on TV telling the whole world that He was not killed. Yalibnan didn’t bother retract the story.
Today we read on this site that 7 HA members were killed (by who????) while helping the Syrian regime crush demonstrators. Again no one piece of evidence was shown except for telling us “The bodies of seven Hezbollah fighters were reportedly brought from Syria to Basta mosque”. Well , No other credible news outlet reported this story, and no prove was provided with this story.
Few questions for people to answer:
1-If it is true that 7 HA fighters were killed in Syria while crushing the protesters, then the whole claim that the protest is peaceful and pro democracy is false. If these people were killed, they must have been killed by people shooting weapons. That would give some credibility to the official Syrian reports that armed extremists are involved and are using weapons. Who killed them?
2- We all know Lebanese culture when it comes to death and burial, so the claim that the families of the dead men were not allowed to hold funerals is extremely hard to believe because no family would agree to that, not to mention 7 families. Not in Lebanon, you can’t burry seven people in secret, and you can’t force seven families and their relatives to keep quiet.
3- For a dictatorship that rued for 41 years with iron fist, it must have had enough brutal force to do the job on its own. It is hard to imagine a regime like the one in Syrian ,needing help from an organization with few thousand fighters.
Didn’t we also read and hear that Syria had sent help to Iran last year? If they can help Iran, why would they need help from HA?
Again political agendas take away from the credibility of News Outlets.
Ok,I’m ducking the bullets from attackers already. Lol

Greetings  to you both  of  you, my Friends, and  thank  you both.
No  doubt that  HA owes  the  Syrian  regime, and it  is  in  their  interest  to  support Assad
It is no surprise that Nassralla defends Syria and its leaders.. If it  was not  for  Syria’s  support  ,He would not  be where  he  is now, and his  resistance  would not  have  been  able  to sustain  itself and defeat Israel. I’m not saying I agree with him, but it is what it is; self interest.
I  have sensed a  change of tone  in both Nassralla and Iran’s attitude  toward Syria’s  regime. Nasralla never defends the regime, but He defends  “Syria’ which “ supports the resistance and the  Palestinian cause”. I have yet to hear him defend the regime and what it really stands for, an doubt that  He  would  ever  do  that. Both Ha and Iran  are  walking   a fine  line  lately. Iran might  be the  first  country in  the region  to abandon  Assad, if it  felt  He  won’t  sustain  himself. Again Self interest,
At The same time, most  people  who are  very  supportive of the Syrian revolution, are  doing  so as a revenge  of the Assad regime, and not  much  out of love  for  democracy  and  freedom  for  Syrian  people. Many people who  support  Syrian  revolution were  so  quiet  when  the  Egyptian  revolution  was   taking  place .Also, the united  state and  western  Europe, have  supported  most  dictators  of the middle east   for  years because of  self  interest. Democracy  was never   an  issue  they really  cared  about  ,aside from  the  routine  state  department  reports  mentioning  the  word democracy and  human  rights.
However ,I  disagree whith your  view that HA  would even  agree  to  pull a  trigger  toward   Syrian  protesters. I  think  They  would  help, if  asked by the  Syrian  regime,  in  technical and intelligence  matter, but  not operational. I could be wrong, but find it hard to believe. Ha is still a small organization with limited number of professional fighters (estimated to be 7000- to 10000). People  make  them  sound  that  they  are a regional  power, which  they  are  not.

    6. ofcourse HA would NEVER do anything like this…they are such nice guys, I mean look how pretty and peaceful their terrorist flag is…LOL

        1. I didn’t say the other parties are angels of God, but I will say their flags for the most part represent Lebanon (forms of a Cedar tree and such..) not flags of an islamist terrorist nature lol…but I can tell you that you do raise good points but the major flaw in your position is the fact you support a TERRORIST organization that has MURDERED our own people and our PM. I refuse to negotiate or debate anyone who continues to support these animals given everything we know about them. You are respectful in  your posts and seem level headed but until you seperate yourself from the animals that continue to move our country BACKWARDS I cant fully respect your positions. (not that my respect should matter to you, but Lebanon should matter to you).

        Fadi101,
I’m all about respect and debating respectfully. Unless you read minds, I have no Idea where I showed any support to HA (even if I did it would be my right and my convictions) or any other political party in Lebanon. If my objectivity in dealing with news relating to HA has offended you, Then there is nothing I can do about it. It is my style of debating.I have no political agenda to promote nor to protect.
Again, you are free to debate who ever you wish, but please don’t throw accusations and don’t make unsubstantiated assumptions or judgments about people who you may disagree with. I have read many of your comments, and didn’t always agree with you, yet I always respected you and respected your rights to believe in what ever you see fit.
I don’t post comments for a popularity contest, and I won’t change my views just for the sake of pleasing others or for the sake of being accepted. The last thing I want to do,is to allow any debate to become a personal one. It would serve no purpose, except providing some silly entertainments and making us all look uncivilized.People can disagree without any animosity. I don’t consider any Lebanese an enemy regardless of how much I may oppose his /her political views.
My best wishes to you anyway.

        1. Fair enough Prophet, but I will say that this whole issue in Lebanon is FAR beyond politics. HA is not a ‘political’ party but rather an Iranian islamist terror organization parading as a political movement. You seem to always doubt any reporting that condemns HA or any negative reports about them. To me that equates to you supporting and sympathizing with them. I don’t recall ever hearing you criticize HA even though there is lots to be critical about. This isn’t about politics but rather about Justice once and for all. I do not blindly support any party but rather I support any progressive and rational party that represents Lebanon and its history/culture. As far as this article is concerned if the bodies were found in Syria then I guess it is what it is. Just like the story about those two HA morons that detonated that bomb accidently, but that was over a fight about ‘finances’…or that explosion in the Di3a that went off, hmmmm. or how about the HA fella that was playing with a grenade in his living room and killed his wife and whoever else…I cant began to get into all the stupidity surrounding HA, but as far as a very few are concerned HA cant do no wrong…good day to you Prophet.

Prophet many times main newspapers do not report news that are coming from countries like Iran and Syria where security is very tight. so ya libnan is reporting i believe from several arab papers sources and site. I am not going to copy everyone of them. There have been several attempts on Iranian president but you hardly hear of it from major news corp. But sometimes Israelis websites report them and yes they may be biased but I really doubt they will report news with such magnitude if it wasn’t true.

Unless you  read  minds, I have  no  Idea where I  showed any  support to HA (even  if  I  did it  would be  my  right and my  convictions)  or any  other  political  party in  Lebanon .Again, you are  free to  debate  who  ever  you  wish, but  please  don’t throw  accusations and make unsubstantiated  judgments about  people  who  you  may  disagree  with.I  have  read  many  of your comments, yet I don’t  always  agree with  you, but I will always  respect you and  respect  your  rights  to  believe in what ever  you see  fit.
I don’t post  comments   for  a popularity  contest, and I  won’t  change my  views  just  for the sake of pleasing  others  or for  the sake of  being  accepted. The  last  thing I  want to  do  is  to  make  any   debate  personal here. It serves no purpose except providing some entertainments to some people, and making us all look uncivilized. People can disagree without being enemies. I don’t consider  any  Lebanese  an enemy regardless  of  How much  I oppose their  political views. Good luck ,and remember that It  was  you  who  replied  to  my  commnet first.

Just like the story about those two HA morons that detonated that bomb accidently, but that was over a fight about ‘finances’…or that explosion in the Di3a that went off, hmmmm. or how about the HA fella that was playing with a grenade in his living room and killed his wife and whoever else…I cant began to get into all the stupidity surrounding HA, but as far as a very few are concerned HA cant do no wrong…good day to you Prophet.

i have no doubt that HA is involved, because 2009 there were many reports they were involved in the Green movement.
some poeple forget that syrian/lebanese borders as well as our national airport are both controled by HA affiliates……

but i guess we just have to wait until we see evidence of that…..perhaps in the afterlife.

  32. Know that at the time ( 9/11/201 )  I had a 16 year-old kid but I would have had a draft then done Iran, Iraq ,Syria WWII style. Now 2012 it would be over. Instead we fool around. Islam is not workable in its fanatic form in the new world we are heading into. Its got to go.
