The 87th Academy Awards featured plenty of glamorous looks on the red carpet. Here are some of the best and worst looks.
BEST: Jennifer Lopez once again proves she’s queen of the red carpet in this embellished dress by Lebanese designer Elie Saab.
BEST: Scarlett Johansson is absolutely stunning in a sleek, emerald Versace gown and matching necklace.
BEST: Also experimenting with green is Emma Stone, who proves she’s the coolest person on the planet in this unique Elie Saab.
WORST: Marion Cotillard’s custom Christian Dior is very divisive, but ultimately doesn’t work.
BEST: Dakota Johnson debuts in Yves Saint Laurent. But even better than her bejeweled strap is her date, mom Melanie Griffith.
BEST: David Oyelowo sets the bar very high for mens fashion with this maroon tuxedo.
BEST: Lupita Nyong’o in a custom Calvin Klein by Francisco Costa. It has 6,000 pearls on it. On the red carpet Nyong’o said the dress is very comfortable.
WORST: Felicity Jones in Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen is more quinceanera than Oscars.
BEST: Margot Robbie makes a bold choice in a long sleeved Yves Saint Laurent and statement jewelry.
BEST: America Ferrera in a seafoam Jenny Packham gown makes us hope she’ll make more red carpet appearances in the future.
BEST: In Zac Posen, Viola Davis embodies classic Hollywood glamour.
BEST: Another divisive gown is Keira Knightley’s Valentino. But ultimately this chic maternity look is a winner.
WORST:Amal Alamuddine Clooney may get away with wearing gloves on the red carpet, but Lady Gaga looks like she’s about to do dishes in a very expensive custom Alaia gown.
