At least ‘79 Hezbollah fighters’ killed in Qusayr

hezbollah funeral 22At least 79 members of the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah have been killed fighting alongside the Syrian army in the town of Qusayr since last week, a watchdog said on Monday.

“The number of Lebanese Hezbollah fighters killed in recent months in the outskirts of Damascus and Homs has risen to 141,” the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said in a statement.

“That includes 79 fighters killed from the period starting at dawn on May 19 to dawn on Sunday yesterday, killed by mines, snipers and fighting in the town of Qusayr and its surroundings,” the group added.

On Sunday, a source close to Hezbollah said the group’s toll in several months of fighting was 110, most of them killed in Qusayr.

Hezbollah has been sending fighters to fight alongside the Syrian army against rebels for several months.

But the battle to retake rebel stronghold Qusayr in the central province of Homs has been its biggest and bloodiest engagement so far.

On Saturday alone, 22 fighters from the Shiite group were killed in Qusayr, the source close to the group told AFP.

The same day, Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah vowed his group would win a “victory” in Syria.

“I say to all the honorable people, to the mujahedeen, to the heroes: I have always promised you a victory and now I pledge to you a new one” in Syria, he said at a ceremony marking the 13th anniversary of Israel’s military withdrawal from Lebanon.

Nasrallah said Hezbollah would always stand by its ally, President Bashar al-Assad, and his regime, stressing that its own interests were at stake.

“We will continue along the road… bear the responsibilities and the sacrifices,” he said in a video link of a speech delivered live on a huge screen.

“This battle is ours… and I promise you victory.”

Nasrallah appealed for Lebanon to be protected from the violence raging across the border.

But on Sunday several rockets slammed into Hezbollah’s southern Beirut stronghold, wounding four people.

And fighting between pro-Syrian regime Alawites and pro-uprising Sunnis in the northern Lebanese port of Tripoli has killed 31 people in the past week.

There are over 25 different nationalities fighting inside Syria along with the rebels, and they all cry about Hezbollah being there? The biggest terrorist group, the Nusra, who have paid allegiance to the ideology of Usama bin Laden, are no friends of Syria, the region, or humanity.

Its about time someone stood up to these animals who have hijacked the Syrian revolution for their masters, America, Israel, Saudi & Qatar.

Blood is on the hands of these criminal governments, who do not allow the Syrians to accept the numerous peace initiativies brought through Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

Ya Ahle Bayti… We do not like other nationalities, so when you say we complain about Hezb-Baal fighting in Syria it is because they should stay out of the conflict PERIOD… Second, everyone has a master… Doesn’t Bashar? Russia and China? and Hezb-Baal does have Iran. Real Lebanese have ONLY Lebanon as Master.

Two man from the Ahlul Byat : one is rightly guided and another is not. The advent of the Guided one is after the demise of the tyrant.

Al-Hakim narrated from ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib [radhiyallahu ‘anhu] that the Messenger of Allah [Peace be upon him] said: “There will be at the end of time a trial that will sort out men as gold is sorted out from metal. So do not revile the people of Sham (SYRIA), but revile their evil ones, for among them are the Abdal [great righteous people]. A flood is about to be released upon the people of Sham (Syria) that will split their unity, so that even if foxes attack them, they would defeat them. At that time, a man from my household will come out with three banners. The one who estimates highly will say that they are fifteen thousand. And the one who estimates lower will say that they are twelve thousand. Their sign will be: “Amit, amit [kill, kill].” They will meet in battle seven banners, and under each of those banners will be a man seeking the kingdom. Allah will kill all of them, and restore to the Muslims their unity and bounty, and their far ones and near ones.”

Abu Dawud narrated from Ibn ‘Umar [radhiyallahu ‘anhuma] that he said: “We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah [Peace be upon him], and he mentioned the fitan, going into much detail in mentioning them, until he mentioned the fitnah of al-Ahlas. So a person said: “O Messenger of Allah, and what is the fitnah of al-Ahlas?” He said: “It is fleeing and plunder. Then the fitnah of as-Sarra’; whose smoke will be under the feet of a man from my household who claims to be from me, but who is not from me; my allies are only the pious. ……..”

Ahmed narrated from Abu Sa’id al-Khudri[radhiyallahu ‘anhu] that he said: “The Messenger of Allah said: “I bring you good tidings of the Mahdi (the guided one), a man from Quraysh, from my descendents, who will be sent among my Ummah at a time of conflict between men and earthquakes. Then he will fill the earth with equity and justice, as it had been filled with tyranny and oppression. The inhabitants of the heavens and the earth will be pleased with him,…..”

This guided one will be A descendant of Fatimah through her son al-Hasan

On Saturday in the February 18, 1985 Israeli army withdrew from Sidon and its posts, the Lebanese army quickly came there and Michel Aoun with the head secretary, the army was well greeted, out of nowhere Hizbullah organized a march of thousands of cars, boarded the suburbs with thousands of civilians and militants, and they demonstrated in the yard of Sidon burning the Lebanese flag which upset all the inhabitants of Sidon, this news is present in all newspapers that date. Its quite ironic to me if you say im Lebanese and support Hezbollah in the same sentence.

I’d rather have them burn the “chador” and taste the sweetness of freedom… Although freedom of expression allows them such an act my question is what on earth did that flag do to them? Ah yes they wanted a Persian carpet in its stead. Soon they will be on a Persian carpet one way ticket to Iran.

‘Cedrus libani’, a cedar native to Lebanon, western Syria and south central Turkey
The ancient forests largely gone … in the same way ‘man’ eliminates nature everywhere.

Cedrus kataebi was derived from Cedrus libani… 😉 You must admit though that the Kataeb Cedar looks better on a flag. Incidentally, do you happen to know its history or origins? I bet you don’t… So here it is. The Kataeb Cedar was originally submitted to the French by the LEBANESE PEOPLE as a consensus flag. The French substituted the flag with a French flag with a regular cedar in its center. The Lebanese government then eliminated the Blue color stripe substituting it with the Red stripe therefore the current Lebanese Flag. The Kataeb adopted the original Flag of Lebanon as its emblem.
To answer your question: Yes I wish long life to everything originating from Lebanese roots… Even my opponents, my Lebanese opponents…

The funny thing is people are only saying NOW that Hezbollah is disloyal to Lebanon. This picture pretty much summarizes 27 years of lies. I hope the Shi’ites wake up soon.
