Egypt will announce the results of talks between Iran, Turkey and Egypt on the Syrian crisis on Monday, said Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi.
In statements cited by Iranian Fars News agency, Salehi said that Tehran presented a six-point plan to help resolve the Syria’s nearly two-year violent conflict at the meeting held in Cairo.
The plan calls for ending the violence in preparation for the formation of a transitional government.
He added that Iranian, Egyptian and Turkish officials held negotiations and achieved positive results, saying the Egyptian side is expected to announce their conclusions on Monday.
