The Lebanese parliament failed today and for the 25th   time in a row to elect a president to replace Michel Suleiman whose term ended on May 25.

As in the past sessions the parliament was unable to reach a quorum because the Iranian backed Hezbollah militant group and its ally MP Michel Aoun’s Change and Reform bloc MPs boycotted the sessions.

Speaker Nabih Berri who is allied with Hezbollah and Aoun postponed  the election to July 15  , 2015 .

MP Michel Pharaon  of the  March 14 alliance  was quoted as saying from parliament: The paralysis at parliament and at cabinet are spreading to the remaining state institutions.

They already SAID they couldn’t meet because they couldn’t eat the ham&cheese OR the Sweetmeats … and NOBODY wants to ‘do lunch’ after sundown.

She doesn’t smoke …. non-smokers usually know nothing about any of the wonders of it’s various aspects. Something like drinking Single-Malts.
