hezbollah-in-black-paradeThe person who was arrested on Thursday by the Internal Security Forces’ information branch for operating the Free Sunnis of Baalbek Brigades fake Twitter account is a Hezbollah member, Al-Mustaqbal newspaper reported on Friday.

“Hussein Shaman al-Hussein, born in 1995, is a Lebanese citizen from Baalbek’s Al-Sharawneh neighborhood and is a member of Hezbollah,” a security source told the daily.

The source also reported that Hussein admitted during the investigations of operating the Twitter account, which claimed a number of terrorist attacks against Shiite targets.

The account also once threatened the Christians of Lebanon and pledged to target churches.

The account also has threatened to target Interior Minister Nouhad al-Mashnouq, army chief Gen. Jean Kahwaji and Maj. Suzan al-Hajj, chief of the Internal Security Forces’ Cyber Crime and Intellectual Property Protection bureau.

The arrest appears to dismiss the rumors that the Twitter account was being operated by foreign intelligence agencies or Arab states that were looking to incite sectarian strife.

A very underhanded pursuit of escalating tensions in a country with enough pressure without this persons contribution. This will only add more turmoil to the crisis, and resembles the work a traitor to the Lebanese people and I don’t see how this isn’t an act of terror on the Lebanese people. These campaigns need to be exposed because I have a feeling it’s not an isolated scandal.

      Act of terror?
He won’t even be slapped on the hand
Raad will burst in the place where he’s held, he’ll scream and threaten and Hussein will walk out…
Don’t you know that the Shia are above any law?

    And finally the truth.
Remember how you all and especially Hussein al hussein’s cousin (farq) jumped on the news and started counter-threatening without even looking into the facts.
I hope this serves you as a lesson, to check your sources and not be led by rumors or rumors creators.
As for the perpetrator’s background and methods no surprise there either, even on this blog we have people like him trying to convince us every day that lebanon’s salvation from the Islamists is that Lebanese embrace that fake and lying “resistance” that graduated from evin and mazzeh.

And they say Hezbollah members arent terrorists…. Maybe Syria put up another Michel Samaha to do the bombing, making it look like the Sunnis are doing it. How can people wonder why I dont trust the ‘resistance’ axis?

Such groups use all kinds of tactics for their own interests! They might even sacrifice some from their own group to create fear and keep suspicion alive as Eric Hoffer says in his book ,The True Believer .

Is it really a rumor when over a month ago the interior minister says it was a foreign intelligence agency?

Now all of the sudden it was a rumor that the interior minister was spreading. Did HA feed him false information to protect this 19 year old kid?

“Al-Hajj revealed that the account was first activated on a Blackberry device on July 22, 2013 in London, but was later operated in several Arab countries.”

The head of cyber crimes was even tricked? Interesting! Maybe you guys ( you know who you are) should quit hating.

(they will never find the 3rd drawer … dirty socks for them if they do …)

  7. one wonders, could it be that HA’s interest is to creat division amongst the people of lebanon?
could it be that HA is operating behind the scenes to spill lebanies blood to promot it’s own mahadi agenda?
could it be that HA’s “resistance” is not the primary goal of HA as they declare night and day but they actually work for a greater irani cause?

From day one, I have said it that the last thing they care about is Lebanon. Iran has sanctions all over it. HA is the drug dealer for Iran.
