2 people injured while playing with a grenade

It seems that the new toy in Lebanon is the hand grenade and two people were injured in Beirut’s Qasqas area near Al-Khasheqji Mosque when a hand grenade exploded as they were playing with it.

One of the two men is reportedly in critical condition, National News Agency reported on Saturday and both were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

This development comes after a deadly car bombing rocked the north eastern Beqaa town of Hermel near the Syrian border on Saturday evening, leaving four people dead and at least 28 injured in the second such explosion in two weeks to hit this Hezbollah stronghold.

Syrian Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi blamed Israel for the explosion in Hermel:

” The beneficiary of the Hermel explosion and of Syria and Iraq’s bombings is one party only, and it is Israel.”

    Something like ‘Toss The Egg’ … but a little more messy.
    (Looks good on them. Hope they have cash.)

      Reminds me of the guy in Tripoli doing ‘trick-riding’ standing on his motorcycle, who pulled out his ’45 to blast at someone in an ‘instant thought’ moment, and blew himself off the bike – finding out that pavement also makes good sandpaper.
      Bad enough that the ‘moto-male’ thought he could ‘multi-task’ … the two with the grenade couldn’t even do ONE thing right. :-)))))))
      Problem is, THESE jerks think they should get free medical – while others scrabble to find cash.
