Assad wants all store fronts painted with his Syrian flag

store fronts - syrian flagThe Syrian regime of embattled president Bashar al Assad issued a decree in which it forces all shop owners to paint all their store fronts with the current Syrian flag adopted by the regime.

As a result of the ongoing Syrian civil war, there are currently two governments claiming to be the de jure government of Syria using different flags to represent the state. The incumbent government, led by the Ba’ath Party is using the red-white-black United Arab Republic flag in use since 1980 while the Syrian Interim Government, led by the Syrian National Coalition – seeking to overthrow the Assad government – readopted the green-white-black Independence flag in 2012.

      Oh, i didn’t know i got a response to Mirror UK here.. yes i know, here it’s a anti Syria, that’s not what bothers me, it’s the blind eye to any othe opinion..wich ultimatly goes to the US-Saudi plots
      for the region, it will backfire…the lack of information on a wider scale, the letargy… will unfortunatjy..

      I think, Really, that we should now admit that the whole thing has become VERY bizarre.
      And yes, like the North Korean who feeds uncles to dogs … so clever to know which ‘stores’ not to bomb, possibly. Hell, if you want to help ‘the peasants’, SEND PAINT. I’m sure they can’t afford to buy it …. and MORE – even on the rooves – would be better. (go light on the green)

    Two flags, now that seems to confirm some theories that Syria will be partitioned in atleast two or possibly more regions independant of each other. Lets see how it pans out, it may be the answer and result in a more positive outcome. Maybe Dennis Rodman will hook up with Bashar, and so on.

        Glad to know you DO have a sense of humour. 😉
        The poor lonely one in the little ‘Zoo’ at the ‘lake’ near Zgharta shows you how vicious they can be when ‘bothered’ too … incredible teeth. 😉
        Geo would love the birds there … although he might cry at the conditions.
        I suppose they try their best ….
