Al-Mustaqbal reported that Security forces arrested in Tariq al-Jedideh Abu Ali Shamleh and confiscated arms from his house.
Shamleh is the leader of the Resistance Brigades , a militia group allied with Hezbollah
Earlier today MTV reported that armed men of Tariq al-Jedideh burned the house of Shamleh but this was denied by Al-Mustaqbal .
MTV also reported earlier that gunfire erupted in Beirut’s Tariq al-Jedideh involving Hezbollah supporters and unidentified gunmen
LBCI reported earlier that Abu Ali appeared beside Mufti Qabbani carrying a weapon in public during Eid al-Adha prayers and later toured Tariq al-Jedideh carrying his weapon openly , which provoked the young people of the area.
