Head of the KRCS Barjas Al-Barjas told the press Thursday the Syrian scene needs a humanitarian attention and support to ease the daily hardships.
The distribution of meals, serving more than 30,000 persons, is seen through a collaboration by the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, Jordan’s Red Crescent and Lebanon’s Red Cross.
KRCS allocated five Iftar locations in Jordan: Madaba, Al Karak, Al-Naima, Al-Torah and Al-Shajara. In Lebanon, meanwhile, Bekka, Saida and Tripoli were chosen to host the Iftar dinner.
Offering Iftar meals is part of Ramadan’s spirit to promoting social responsibility and commitment toward helping the underprivileged, Al-Barjas concluded.
