Hezbollah’s Al Manar TV reported on Sunday, citing security sources in the Syrian capital, that an Israeli warplane was shot down by Syrian air-defense units during a raid near Damascus early Sunday
The report by Al Manar TV could not be independently confirmed .
The government owned Syrian Arab News Agency SANA confirmed the raid by israel but did not comment about any israeli warplane downed by the Syrian government air forces
