Lebanon’s Prime Minister-designate Tammam Salam said that he is no rush to form a new government and refuses to be pushed .
“I refuse to rush the formation of the new government; however, I am not with delaying it because the country needs a government,” Salam said in a statement following his Tuesday meeting with President Michel Suleiman.
The PM-designate stressed that discussions are ongoing regarding the distribution of portfolios.
“We want to enhance harmony within the country,” he continued.
