Israeli Newspapers reported that three people were injured Thursday when a fire in a fireworks factory in the town of Goren between Ma’alot Tarshiha and the Lebanese border in the Galilee triggered an explosion.
The blaze spread to nearby factories and garages, including a light metals plant and a battery factory which went up in flame and partially collapsed, according to the reports.
Residents were ordered to shut themselves up in their homes and firefighters were on the scene, attempting to control the blaze, the reports said.
