Jamil Sayyed planned to assassinate Jumblatt, report

Future Movement bloc MP Nohad Mashnouq told Future News TV on Wednesday that the audio recording of a conversation between former Lebanese General Security chief Jamil as-Sayyed and ex-Information Minister Michel Samaha revealed an attempt to kill Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblatt.

“Sayyed said in the recording that Walid Jumblatt should be on top of the list of assassinations,” Mashnouq said

Earlier on Wednesday, LBC television reported that the Internal Security Forces Information Branch obtained a recording of conversations between Sayyed and Samaha during a drive from Damascus to Beirut.

    Another Alqaeda operative Jamil as-Sayyed  could easily point his finger at Alqaeda had he succeeded  killing 
    Walid Jumblatt. It didnt happen so we only know that he had a plan to kill this man. The important point is the Alqaeda buga buga!! that after this kind of crime a fantom group Alqaeda pops up and takes responsibility and the sheep loves to get along with it.

      i dont enjoy the death of anybody  & i am against the death penalty however, certain serial killers like joumblatt and geagea, i would celebrate the day they are shot by a fire squad just for the sake of the mothers  who lost their sons under their hands and here i am particularly thinking of the christian mothers. I invite each one in this blog to observe a minute of silence in memory of those killed by geagea and joumblatt father and son even though i have much more respect for kamal than to his son: the former had an ideology even though i do not abide by it: ultimately he sided with the foreigner palestinian against his own lebanese people

          well politicians are the same everywhere; bunch of crooks. However Lebanon, being a war field since 1975, sees events happening in an accelerated mode: “la guerre est la politique à chaud” said a famous philosopher whose name escapes me right now. However, a resistance leader should be different if he is fighting for a cause. Now lets go back to the cause of the minorities in the middle east: i believe Bashir carried this flag for a good period and did so wonderfully except that the end was catastrophic and was succeeded by an opportunistic crook called amine; a notorious syrian rampant. If one reviews the natural history of most resistance movements in the world they either achieve their goals or they corrupt themselves into maffia groups. This is the case of geagea and joumblatt

         I can’t agree more. I don’t like any violence period but the two you mentioned are definitely prison quality or fatal accident would be better. It will be a happy day when I hear their good news.
