Lebanon to have a ministry of Petroleum

The Public Works, Transportation, Energy and Water Parliamentary Commission approved on Tuesday a proposal to establish a new ministry that will specialize in Petroleum products, National News Agency, reported

Following the meeting, the head of the commission, Mohammad Qabbani, told reporters: “We take advantage of this opportunity to say that it is important to establish a committee for administering petroleum sector before forming an Ministry of petroleum, because the delay is no longer acceptable.”

In August 2010, Lebanon’s parliament passed a law establishing Lebanon’s maritime boundary and Exclusive Economic Zone.

      I thought petroleum was part of Energy … but I guess petroleum jelly can be covered under this too … and some extra-new Minister making huge amounts of expert money will figure a way to tax the gay boys with it too. 😉

      I thought it was part of Energy … but I guess petroleum jelly can be covered under this too … and some extra-new Minister making huge amounts of expert money will figure a way to tax the gay boys with it too. 😉

    top 1000  students in lebanon should be plucked out and offered scholarships in the petroleum industry…so that we can run it ourselves and we dont have sell ourselves anymore than we have…the student bodies of the universities should be demanding this…this is how the next generation should be taking control

      Grab some of the kids with guns around the so-called ‘country’ … they seem to have a natural mechanical ability to keep a gun working.

    top 1000  students in lebanon should be plucked out and offered scholarships in the petroleum industry…so that we can run it ourselves and we dont have sell ourselves anymore than we have…the student bodies of the universities should be demanding this…this is how the next generation should be taking control

    One more extra minister to feed his $$$ hungry stomach. In USA we have 15 members of cabinets for 300 million people in Lebanon for 4 million people we will have now 31, go figure! I am thinking Speaker of the house is really interested in this oil issue so his Man will be the Minister.
