Verbal clash between Safadi and Bassil, report

MTV reported on Wednesday that reporters in the Grand Serail overheard a verbal clash between Finance Minister Mohammad Safadi and Energy Minister Gebran Bassil during the cabinet session.

The report added that the reason of the clash is the fact that “Bassil objected to Safadi’s decision to stop issuing treasury loans to ministries.”

According to the reporters, Safadi told Bassil: “The requests that come from your ministry are always marred by errors… if you want another finance minister get one.”

In some countries, the ‘sessions’ of governments are on a TV channel which all can listen to … not that they do.
Nice here that a reporter can at least report …. 😉
Just needs to watch his ass in a coffee shop …
