Syrian opposition delegation visited China, report

China’s Foreign Ministry says that a Syrian opposition delegation visited Beijing and met Vice Foreign Minister Zhai Jun.

Ministry spokesman Liu Weimin told a news briefing Thursday that China wants to maintain contacts and communication with Syrian opposition groups.

China and Russia drew the wrath of the United States, Europe and much of the Arab world for vetoing a U.N. Security Council resolution on Syria.

The U.S. and others say the veto blocked a U.N. attempt to end the bloodshed and raises fears the violence will escalate.

    China and Russia are there to VETO and the rest are against Russia and China. Let there be 200 resolution and 200 VETO will be from Russia and China. So this is arranged to deceive the world. If you want to take action against Syria you have to go through the UN and when you go through the UN you will be stuck with 2 VETOS. If you do it by your own initiative without UN then you are a terrorist!!! But 15000 Iranian Mullah guard deployed in Syria along with Hezbushaitan are not terrorist act nor it is foreign intervention. Some one posted a interesting comment in this forum about 66 US veto in favor of Israel. This is how the time will be passing by while the veto piles up high.Its peoples fight and they have to sneak in to Syria to help their brothers , there is no other way.

      Yah .. there is a WAY … give the people a secular democracy and stop killing anyone who disagrees with the votes and taking over by force any elected parliament. THAT is a ‘way’.
