  4. Apparently the Lebanese cabinet approved of minimum wage increase to 868000 LL. This is no doubt will lead to further inflation.

The only thing that inflates is the egos of the cabinet and their controllers.

I suspect that business owners in order to stay in business will in return fire their existing employees, and this will further cripple the Lebanese economy.

Wage increases on the aggregate will always lead to inflation and this is a very bad news. The theory is that if productivity in any economy is stagnant, and if  we increase wages substantially then this will no doubt lead to rising. inflation which would be harmful for all the people.

        The purchasing power will decline.

          Sebouh.
I sincerely doubt that raising the wages of the lowest-paid slogs will give them much more purchasing power – especially since the price of food and certain other necessities of life already went up anyway.
Unless, of course, everyone out there is a minimum-wage earner … in which case the higher taxes from the rich (hahahaha) should be subsidising the food prices of the poor slogs who seem to be necessary to make their businesses work.
Kraft Dinner and Beans anyone? Labneh and flat-bread?
Bottled water – needed more often than food – takes the edge off the stomach pains.
