Nahhas Slams his allies for rejecting his wage increase plan

Lebanon’s Minister of Labor Charbel Nahhas told OTV television on Thursday that the cabinet’s vote on the wage increase plan “was politically-motivated and biased.”

Nahhas accused his colleagues in the Change and Reform bloc who voted against his plan of acting as “an octopus seeking … to defend its personal interests ”

“It is very regrettable that even Amal and Hezbollah ministers voted against my plan,” he added.

OTV, which is owned by Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun branded on Wednesday evening the parties that voted against Nahhas plan as ” the new 5 party hostile coalition ” in reference to Hezbollah , AMAL Movement , President Michel Suleiman, PM Najib Mikati and Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblat.

    WAGE INCREASE IS BIG NEGATIVE , FOR THE LEBANEESE ECONOMY .   MOST IMPORTANT MANUFACTORIES AND COMPANIES WILL MOVE OUT OF LEBANON INSTEAD OF BRINGING MORE WORK TO LEBANO , DUE TO HIGH COST OF LABOR ,THE COUNTRY LOOSING JOBS THAT WILL MAKE THE ECONOMY IN LEBANON BAD ,AND THE ONLY BENEFIFICERIES IS THE SYRIAN REGEME WHERE  THERE ARE ONE MILLION SYRIANS WORKING IN LEBANON , THIS JUST LOOSING PROPOSITION TO ALL LEBANEESE AT THIS TIME ,NAHHAS GO BACK TO SCHOOL AND GET A COLLEGE DEGREE OR SOME EDUCATION BECAUSE YOU SEEM TO BE IGNORANT

    That’s OK Charbel, the workers won. You just need to cut taxes now and call it even. Too much wage increases causes inflation and that is what foreigners want.

      Errrr … Libnan1.
      Don’t the hotels charge foreign prices now ?? The average pole-hole digger can’t take the wife and kids for a weekender now to a place with a clean pool. They are stuck with having to swim in the Med and keep the head out of the water. (check for body-scratches before entering …)
      And to Joseph (below) …. 
      Who can afford university? Even if they get a ‘degree’ it’s usually the ‘3rd’ they end up with. And if the university types can’t dig a hole properly, the place will never have electricity. All the engineers haven’t been able to find it, after all …..

After you and your scum lord Aoun stop babbiling which you guys never do, hezbollah will do what it wants. so don’t be surprised darling and get a life. After all you just high paid whore just like your Orange Tweetee. In the end you will be celebrating Ashura if you keep sticking with them. And basically you deserve what you guys get and in the end it will be ugly..
