Gemayel: Hezbollah’s weapons don’t defend coexistence

Former Lebanese president and current Phalange  Party leader Amin Gemayel on Tuesday rejected that Hezbollah’s weapons “defend coexistence,” in reference to a statement issued by the Shiite  party.

“This theory contradicts any  type of  logic of  coexistence and abolishes the National Pact, all previous agreements such as the Taif Accord, and the constitution as well,” he told Future TV

Gemayel also said that “any dialogue to discuss non-state weapons is useless, unless Hezbollah  admits that its weapons have become politically sectarian and  are no longer  for resistance.”

    Well Mr. Amin Jemayel, if U think Hezbollah will easily step forward and admit that the weapons has obtain are causing sectarian conflict and are no longer for resistance then that will not happen, we all lebanese starting with you Mr. Amin and all opposition March 14 members along with all lebanese people of all sects Suunis and shiites and Druze and Christians to take it to the streets and force the change , force Hezbollah to hand his weapons to the Lebanese army , we have to force this Mr. Ex president they will not do it on their own , force has to be matched and faced by force of all lebanese in order to have our country back to benefit the Lebanese poeple not to serve interests the benefit of I ran regime and syrian Baath Assad regime. So lets all of us Lebanese rise up against the hegemony of Hezbollah against the state and Lebanon, let us say to them this is it, time is up for U Hezbollah , no more .

      Yes your 100% rite, but the people are so scared of what HA will do.
      I bet 80% of Lebanese want HA to give up arms but, lips are shut as they don’t want a repeat of 2008 and also people know the army has HA members.
      Lebanon will not rest until this group is back in Iran.
