Speeding, alcohol main cause of 43 Lebanon accident in 24 hours

Lebanese Red Cross (LRC) reported Thursday that Three people were killed and 57 others were wounded in 43 traffic accidents across Lebanon over the past 24 hours

LRC official George Kettaneh said the accidents were mainly caused by speeding and driving while under the influence of alcohol.

    One way to eliminate drunk & bad drivers I suppose, but hard on their victims who just happened to be on the same road-space. Especially Tough on people when hospitals will stop the bleeding, but want money before any real treatment begins.  
      Another failure of governments and religiously-divided health-care-thinking – and insurance rates which are far beyond average due to the possibility of ‘revenge-killings’, stray lead flying around, or buried street-bombs. 
    It’s no wonder people drink. The problem is that they lose the ability to realize the possibility of suicide from it.
