ISF raises alert level to 90% following riots at Roumieh prison

The Lebanese Internal Security Forces ISF has raised its alert level to 90 percent and has reinforced its troops in prisons throughout Lebanon.

This came as a result of the riots at the Roumieh prison, east of the capital, Beirut

MTV reported that cautious calm prevails inside the Roumieh prison after heavy deployment of security forces .

There were reports that one inmate was killed but this could not be independently confirmed
