Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea stressed Thursday during his visit to Spain that the LF supports all that can improve the living conditions of Palestinians in Lebanon “on condition that naturalization remains a red line.”

Geagea said after meeting Arab diplomats and ambassadors in Madrid that the recent dispute in the Lebanese parliament over the Palestinians’ rights was due to “the complexities of Lebanese politics.”

He added: “No one opposes all that is needed to improve the daily life of the Palestinians’ daily life.”

Commenting on the political situation in Lebanon, Geagea said: “The relative calm in Lebanon hides many flaws, the most prominent of which is the division of power between the Lebanese state and Hezbollah,” noting that the party’s decision to use its arms lies outside the Lebanese borders.

The Lebanese parliament voted during its Tuesday’s extraordinary session on Progressive Socialist Party leader MP Walid Jumblatt’s bill concerning granting Palestinian refugees in Lebanon civil rights in Lebanon. Speaker Nabih Berri referred the bill to the administrative and justice committee to study and submit recommendation to parliament .

Hezbollah and Amal MPs voted in favor of the bill, while the Phalange party , Lebanese Forces and Change and Reform blocs voted against it.

The vote of the so called rightists anger jumblatt who said:” The rightists are dumb and the Lebanese rightists are the dumbest “
