Baroud: Voter turnout is relatively low

Lebanon’s minister of interior Ziad Baroud told reporters that the voter turnout has been relatively low in Beirut ; 23 % in Mazraa, 8 % in Mina al His, 15-16 % in Saifi and Rumail

In Beqaa Baroud he said , while the average turnout so far is 21 % in Hermel it is 27 %

Baroud predicts the voter turnout will increase during the last last hours but he expects Beirut turnout to remain low . He reminded the reporters that in 2004 the voter turnout in Beirut Municipal election was 23 %
