Lebanese President Michel Suleiman said in Doha , Qatar during his meeting with Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani that Arab solidarity is essential in confronting Israel’s threats against Lebanon and its settlement policy in Jerusalem. Arab solidarity is intrinsic to facing economic challenges, he added.
Suleiman praised Arab leaders’ support for Lebanon, especially Qatar for its aid following the July 2006 war as well as for its role in the 2008 Doha agreement.
The two leaders also discussed methods of enhancing Lebanese-Qatari relations on all levels.
